The house has several bedrooms out of which six are let out. The four bedrooms,a stand alone one bedroom cottage and an open plan two bedroom cottage ensure coziness as well as privacy. Our bedrooms are themed and named after local Goan fruits in their 'christened' Portuguese names. Each room is unique in its design and style with period Goan furnishings, reflecting the vibrant culture and history of the land.
The first of our double occupancy rooms, Melancia is air-conditioned and the breezy green tones aptly reflect the lush country side. The bedroom is on the first floor and has a balcony with a relaxing view of sunny skies and palm trees. Drawing this prosperous energy from the surrounding greenery, we hope that your stay in this room will bring you prosperity in the future.
This double occupancy room calls out to every weary traveler. The bright and playful colours (as well as the air-conditioning) rejuvenate the mind and body, and get our guests up and going, eager to explore every one of those long- winding roads.
A naturally cooled bedroom, Manga has a wonderful sun-kissed glow, no doubt influenced by its name. The room reflects an old world charm with its four poster bed, period furniture and high tiled ceiling. The double ceiling fan and vibrant colours make it ideal for lazing about on those humid summer afternoons. Perhaps that's why the room has become such a favorite of our guests.
The master bedroom is a part of the 80 year old house, built in the true Indo-Portuguese style with high ceilings, tall windows and intricately tiled floor. With it's spacious layout and period furniture, the room provides an authentic experience of easy Goan living. The room is naturally cooled, with an en suite bathroom and a private entrance from the gardens. What's more, it has an exclusive balcony overlooking the well manicured lawns!
Our cozy little cottage with its air conditioning and open plan has two bedrooms and is ideally suited for a family. The upstairs bedroom has a private balcony with a relaxing view of the sunny skies above, while the lower bedroom has a direct entrance to the verandah. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, to ensure a convenient and relaxed stay. A fridge and an electric kettle are provided for your family's comfort.
The inspiration for the villa is the orange fruit - believed to symbolize knowledge and rejuvenation, good luck and prosperity. We hope that a stay here would do likewise for our honored guests.
A stand alone one bedroom cottage is our latest addition to the fruits in our 'quinta'. It has a naturally cooled bedroom opening into a spacious balcão.
